Canon making fuel cells for printers and cameras
25 October 2005 by Hydrogen PowerCanon is attempting to replace batteries in cameras and printers with tiny fuel cells. The necessary hydrogen would come from a refillable cartridge. Though fuel cells would last longer than the typical lithium ion battery, current fuel cell prototypes are too large and Canon is still working on a convenient method for providing the hydrogen fuel to consumers.
