India installs first hydrogen filling station
12 October 2005 by Hydrogen PowerIndia has begun its move towards a future hydrogen economy by installing a hydrogen filling station at the Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s R&D center, in Faridabad, just north of New Delhi. It supplies both hydrogen as well as HCNG, a hydrogen and compressed natural gas blend. Many vehicles in India are powered by CNG and the added hydrogen reduces emissions from those engines.
