Jeremy Rifkin once again gave gloomy warnings of doom predicting peak oil soon:
Let's hope and pray that we don't peak in the next two to three years, or we are going to be in trouble like we have never been before in human history
I would think this sort of heavy breathing is getting a bit old even among proponents of hydrogen fuel as an energy alternative. It certainly makes him sound like a bit of an alarmist (I'm trying to be gentle) to everyone except his staunch supporters. It may be a good thing, however, as he pushes himself further to the fringe, serious people can think about hydrogen's true role in future power solutions.
